Fault: The healed area is encased in a grey, metalloplastic, clearly artificial layer of polymers. This “shell” remains for as long as it would have taken the damage to heal naturally. Objects repaired or enhanced are encased in a similar polymer layer until the time is taken to repair them conventionally, or until the enhancement wears off. This does not inconvenience or otherwise affect the recipient of the treatment, but it is a clear sign that something outside the normal parameters of sane medicine has been done here.
